Phil

five local Bicoastal Media radio stations, died unexpectedly
in his sleep on Thursday, April 16th. Phil was 43 years
old.
Locally
born and raised, Phil attended Butler Acres Elementary,

he met his wife, Suzanne.

a PBS documentary about William O. Douglas, the longest-serving

a few years at KLOG radio, before becoming News Director
for all five radio stations of Bicoastal Longview in January,

We
all miss Phil Blair - for both his dedication to providing
the community with the best local news and information coverage
available, as well as for a being a comforting friend to
listeners of the KEDO in the Morning Show.
PHIL'S
BIO IN HIS OWN WORDS
I've
been involved in radio since 2001, after working in television
production for over 20-years. I grew up in Kelso, graduated
from Kelso High in 1984 (Go Hilanders!), and was voted "Outstanding
Senior". I grew up with the nickname "The source" because
it seemed I always knew what was going on around town and
in our neighborhood. To this day, I enjoy getting up each
morning, and sharing what's going on with news, weather,
and other stuff that I think listener's would like hearing
about, in my morning show "KEDO in the Morning."
I
worked on a national PBS documentary on William O. Douglas
in 1989 (was videographer and tape editor). I'm married
and have three wonderful children and a beautiful granddaughter!
In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, traveling, camping,
and photography.
